12 – 15 May 2015
The Roosevelt Hotel New Orleans USA

This annual conference has a focus on leak detection and pipeline analysis this year, including a technology showcase from solution providers.

Atmos regularly presents papers during PSIG. this year's presentation will be:

Tuning Mid-Line Deliveries and Injections in Online Models
Jason Modisette, Victor Mora
14 May 2015 09:45-10:30

Atmos USA will be exhibiting during the technology showcase, talking about Atmos International’s simulation systems and pipeline management tools. This will include:

  • A presentation of Atmos SIM and Atmos Generic Trainer
  • Illustration of the drag and drop configuration of the control logic
  • Running Atmos Trainer to simulate a transient scenario using the control settings
  • Simulation of a leak, detected by Atmos Pipe
  • Emergency shut down after the leak alarm

Atmos has extensive experience with leak and theft detection for a large number of clients around the world. Our simulation, leak detection, and operations management suites offer a wide range of solutions for gas and liquid pipelines, including Atmos SIM Online and Atmos SIM Offline for real-time modelling and pipeline design in a user friendly software package.

The conference program features topics including:

  • Building a system sensitivity map
  • Gas pipeline leak detection
  • Practical theft detection
  • Pipeline leak location using optimization method
