A paper by Harry Smith, Sales and Senior Research Engineer for Atmos International, has been published in the fifth issue of Pipeline Technology Journal.
The paper, 'Leak and theft detection strategies', focuses on how to integrate established technologies with the latest pipeline leak detection innovations. Within the paper, Harry reviews how innovation can help provide operators with deeper knowledge and insights about their pipelines. As no pipeline is the same, neither can there be a one-size-fits-all leak and theft detection technology.
The paper also focuses on the use of technology for non-instrumented pipelines, even in conditions where there is no power or data communications.
