The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC)
9 – 12 November 2015
Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi UAE
Atmos International will again be part of the international pavilion section, showcasing new offline pipeline theft detection solution (Odin) and new portable hydrostatic testing unit (Atmos Hydrostatic Tester). Atmos will exhibit with Middle East Partner BSS Tech on booth 9520.
Atmos Hydrostatic Tester
This portable kit uses both pressure and acoustic sensors to identify even tiny leaks or intermittent tapping, with location accuracy to 2 meters. It is ideal for where pipeline integrity testing is mandatory, and negates the need for costly yet limited options with dyed or odorized water.
This revolutionary battery-based theft detection solution has been designed for pipelines previously in a detection ‘black hole’ – for example, in areas without power or communications, or where standard detection units are undesirable for aesthetic reasons.
Read the article 'The rising threat of oil theft' in World Pipelines magazine (Oct edition), available during the event. The article discusses how Atmos applications have allowed operators to catch thieves on their pipelines.
This world renowned conference programme attracted over 76,000 delegates last year who visited 1,868 exhibitors, 18 national oil companies and 17 international oil companies at the largest gas and oil event in the Middle East. This year’s event is set to be even bigger with the introduction of a custom built ‘Offshore and Marine Platform’ to showcase offshore, marine, and subsea equipment and services.
The conference program includes eight executive panels, four academia sessions, and 81 technical sessions from over 600 speakers. Meaning this event will attract the top oil and gas industry professionals from around the world.
