The Pipeline Simulation Interest Group (PSIG) was formed in 1969 with a purpose to facilitate the interchange of information and advance the state of the art in modelling, simulation, optimization, steady-state and transient flows, single and multiphase flows, and related subjects as applied to fluid pipeline systems. This year marks the 50th anniversary of their annual conference which is attended by about 170 people who represent major gas companies, major oil companies, specialized consultants and universities in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia & Asia.
Atmos will have five representatives attending and presenting:
Jason Modisette, Chief Simulation Scientist - Pipeline flow equations
Giancarlo Milano, Principal Simulation Engineer - Evaluating different approaches for tracking batches in a multi-product pipeline during the presence of slack
Jun Zhang, CEO, Andy Hoffman, R&D Director, & Harry Smith, Sales and Research Engineer - Improving leak detection system performance with non-intrusive sensors
