The Pipeline Simulation Interest Group (PSIG) was formed in 1969 with a purpose to facilitate the interchange of information and advance the state of the art in modeling, simulation, optimization, steady-state and transient flows, single and multiphase flows and related subjects as applied to fluid pipeline systems.
PSIG hold an annual meeting each year in spring at various locations around the country that bring together approximately 170 people who represent major gas companies, major oil companies, specialized consultants and universities in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. Last year’s conference was held digitally due to the COVD-19 pandemic but this year’s conference is going be held in-person at the San Diego Mission Bay Resort in California on May 10-13.
Activities will include the latest in pipeline simulation technology, formal paper presentations, technical discussions, and software and technology demonstrations by providers of pipeline simulation products and services
Atmos will have a representative presenting:
Jason Modisette, Chief Simulation Scientist - Pipeline flow equations
Jason Modisette, Chief Simulation Scientist - Dynamic Pump and Tank Optimizer for Water Networks (You can download the paper or presentation from our resources section)
Atmos has signed up as a Solution Provider and will be exhibiting products and services at the PSIG Conference so stop by our table to learn more about what we do.
