Atmos’ fresh thinking assists AquAid ambitions
Fresh thinking at Atmos International (Atmos) relies on our people being safe and well. Ensuring everyone is well-hydrated is part of our support, which also includes fresh fruit deliveries and mental health initiatives.
When we had the chance to look at water cooler suppliers in our UK office, we knew we could apply our values and do something with a purpose that gives back to society. As a result, we decided to invest in watercoolers from AquAid.
Through the partnership with AquAid, Atmos now has the opportunity to help those less fortunate in parts of Africa. With each purchase of a water cooler, an automatic donation is made to The Africa Trust.
The donations are used to help build ‘Elephant Pumps’ - a modified version of an age-old Chinese rope pulley system. A pump has been installed in Africa on behalf of Atmos and it will be a much-needed source of clean and fresh drinking water for many.
To date, AquAid has built over 8,000 Elephant Pumps across parts of Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe and has donated in excess of £17 million to charity.
